Bayswater lies just north of a famous cultural and Olympic venue, Hyde Park. The area is primarily residential, so expect to see a lot of apartments for rent. Bayswater has a lot of local history and some fine bars and pubs – notable among them are The Cleveland Arms on Chilworth Street, The Chepstow and The Kings Head on Moscow Road. The Black Lion on Chilworth Street is another landmark where you can find the sports fans in jocular discussions about their favourite teams.
